-Truman Capote
I confess, I love the occasional light read during the summer. Holly Golightly, you would think her name says it all; but Breakfast at Tiffany’s is not a light read.
Holly has deep layers even though you might only see Audrey Hepburn, the flighty Manhattan socialite. Insecure and lacking confidence, Holly allows others to define her and put her in the cage she would never allow herself to enter.
How different Holly would be if she loved herself. At least, in some instances, she became her best self because others gave her confidence.
What do you think? Did you read the book AND see the movie?
