Amelia Earhart was a huge role model for me as a young girl and someone who inspired me to join the US Air Force. And, even though I have crossed the ocean several times, I have never gone alone like Amelia attempted to do so many years ago.

Perhaps this is something that may hold us all back. There is comfort in numbers.
